Cooperator Notes: New Holland SC380 and SD440, 4” stealth paired row opener, 4” steel packer, 9”spacing.Land deep tilled in fall 2019 after barley crop, then field cultivator prior to seeding. Sunny 18C. 90-25-20-25 fertilizer approx 30% with the seed paired row and 70% in the trench. Seeded at 5 mph with the seed at approx 3/4 inch deep. All seed was seeded using tkw and target plant stand of 7 plants per sq foot using the Pioneer App. Seeding rates varied from 4.5 to 5.5 #/ac. Plot size varied from 9.8 to 10.1 acres

1-5 - combining 1-5, easy threshing, A bit more chaff in the sample, 63.55

◦ CS2600TF - slightly taller than CS2000, short stubble, easy cutting, 1-5 -
combining 2-5, very nice to combine, clean sample

◦ 6204TF - taller again than CS2600, taller stubble, easy cutting, 1-5 -
combining 4-5, hard grinding, lots of slugs

◦ 6076CR - slightly greener than6304 TF,taller than 6204TF, quite tall, tall
stubble, tougher cutting, first beaver house, 3-5 - combining 1-5, very easy
threshing

◦ 4187RR - a bit greener and slightly shorter than 6076CR, medium stubble,
least mature, decent cutting, 2-5 - combining 4-5, hard threshing, higher
moisture, slug feeding

◦ 6090RR - most mature, tallest variety here, easy cutting, tall stubble, 1-5 -
combining 2-5, huge swath, a bit of slugging
