WINNIPEG, MB – Today, CANTERRA SEEDS announces the introduction of CS3000 TF TruFlex™ canola with Roundup Ready® Technology to its lineup. This is the second TruFlex™ canola variety that CANTERRA SEEDS has offered since the successful launch of CS2600 CR-T in 2019 – with both hybrids built on a trait platform that benefits farmers with flexibility in spray windows and timing, improved weed control and higher yield potential.
“CS3000 TF is an excellent yielding TruFlex canola hybrid holding its own and out-yielding key competitors in Western Canada,” says Courtney Welch, Canola Product Manager for CANTERRA SEEDS. “Not only is the yield excellent, CS3000 TF has first-rate disease resistance with second generation clubroot and multigenic blackleg resistance built in.”
This hybrid also offers straight-cut ability and as a short statured, mid-maturing hybrid, is suitable for all growing zones, especially those in the southern part of the Prairie provinces.
“It’s all about accessing hybrids and varieties that fit and meet the needs of all Western Canadian farmers in all geographies – whether it be wheat, oats, barley, peas or this new TruFlex canola hybrid,” says Curt Baldwin, Director of Canola, Corn & Soybeans Business Unit. “We are constantly looking to meet the seed needs of our farmer customers and retail partners, and we expect CS3000 TF TruFlex canola to hit it out of the park.”
