About Duane Ransome

Duane joined CANTERRA SEEDS in April 2013 as the Canola Operations Manager. With over two decades of experience in the agricultural sector, including roles at AgrEvo Canada, UGG/Agricore United/Proven Seed, and Viterra/Proven Seed, Duane brings a wealth of expertise in seed production and management. Duane's skills as a communicator and organizer, coupled with his extensive knowledge of seed production regulations, make him an invaluable member of the CANTERRA SEEDS team.

Hailing from Crystal City, MB, Duane grew up on a pedigreed seed production farm, instilling in him a deep connection to farming. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and two sons, aged 9 and 11, who share his passion for nature.
