About Scott Peters

Scott Peters joined the CANTERRA SEEDS team in June 2024 as the Territory Manager for Western Manitoba and Southeast Saskatchewan. His roots trace back to a mixed farm with around 100 cows and 1,000 acres of grain. Based out of Rivers, Manitoba, Scott brings to CANTERRA SEEDS over 16 years of experience in the Nutrien Ag retail system. In 2008, he started at the Hamiota location as a Seasonal Operations Support and shortly after moved into the role of Branch Manager in 2010.

Scott has been responsible for all business aspects from product procurement, sales forecasting/budgeting, managing profitability and building customer relationships and executing on sales. He is passionate about building customer relationships through dedicated service, trust, and honest agronomic advice.  In the fall of 2023, Scott and his girlfriend Rachel welcomed their son Calvin to the world, their lovely bundle of joy. Scott is also very involved in his community and has a passion for sports (an avid Edmonton Oilers fan).  He is currently the Vice President of the Riverdale Golf & Country Club, on the Rivers Community Development Committee and referee’s hockey when he can. He loves to travel and in 2022 completed the trek to the Mount Everest base camp!

Scott’s “get it done” attitude makes him a valuable addition to our sales team. His knowledge of the trading area and customer base has been a great asset to CANTERRA SEEDS!
