About Jackie Dudgeon-MacDonald

Jackie’s journey with CANTERRA SEEDS began in June 2018 when she joined the team as the Manitoba Territory Manager where she thrived in fostering relationships with farmers and being a champion for the CANTERRA SEEDS portfolio. After a brief departure, Jackie is back to take on a new challenge as the Sales Support Lead. Her dedication to supporting the sales team and ensuring smooth operations has been instrumental in the company’s success.

Jackie hails from Morden, MB, where she grew up as a hybrid farm kid. Her dad and grandpa operated a grain farm south of Darlingford, but they lived in town where her mom was an elementary school teacher. She spent many birthdays (August 28) in the field when her family would take supper out to the combines! Today, Jackie and her husband farm alongside her dad and two years ago bought their neighbour’s property – a very exciting moment in their lives! Fun fact, Jackie and her family now live on the yard that our CANTERRA SEEDS Chair Jim Wilson grew up on! With two kids, Walker (4) and Sloane (1.5), Jackie’s life is a whirlwind of responsibilities. Despite the busy schedule—off-farm jobs, grain farming, and a cow-calf operation—she still enjoys card games, reality TV, and falling asleep during movies (within minutes of putting it on!)

Jackie’s proudest achievements? Her kids, of course! But professionally, she’s also thrilled to have been elected to the Manitoba Canola Growers. Serving members and advancing the canola industry in Manitoba and beyond brings her immense satisfaction. Since joining the agriculture industry in 2012, Jackie has remained committed to helping farmers thrive—making a positive impact every step of the way.
