About Mercy Appiah

Mercy Appiah joined CANTERRA SEEDS in November 2025 and currently serves as a Logistics Coordinator, supporting supply chain and logistics operations across the organization. In this role, Mercy coordinates inbound and outbound shipments, works closely with third-party logistics providers, and supports inventory planning to ensure timely and efficient product movement. 

Mercy brings a strong background from the mining sector, where she gained extensive experience in logistics coordination, expediting, and procurement support for large-scale operations. Prior to joining CANTERRA SEEDS, she worked on complex, high-value mining projects, coordinating with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal stakeholders to manage multimillion-dollar shipments, support project timelines, and mitigate delivery and supply risks. 

Originally from Ghana and now based in Manitoba, Mercy brings a global perspective and a disciplined, operations-focused mindset shaped by her mining background. Outside of work, she enjoys continuous learning, community involvement, and spending time with her family.
