Hockey players and skaters of all ages in the La Glace, Alberta area will soon lace up their skates in a brand-new hockey arena partly funded by Dan Richards of Scenic Heights Farms after he nominated the La Glace Ag Society through the Rooted in the Prairies Project by CANTERRA SEEDS.

CANTERRA SEEDS seed grower and Rooted in the Prairies Project winner, Larry Penner, nominated the Three Hills Health Care Auxiliary Society. In addition to the $2,500 donation provided by the Penner family on behalf of CANTERRA SEEDS, Larry has matched the donation, for a total of $5,000 going to the Auxiliary Society, which will help the Three Hills Health Care Centre with much-needed equipment.
